I started my education in the arts in 2016 located in Antwerp, Belgium. With an extensive background in mixed media like print making, architectural- and photography studies I started my bachelor’s program in jewelry design and goldsmithing to envoke a new creative start.
I have been collecting permanent art on my body for years as well as adorning myself in jewelry and ever changing hair colors. It wasn’t a suprise to me that jewelry making instantly felt comfortable. I’m not only a jewelry artist but I seek to combine all my learned skills to make layered works inspired by my fascinations. Subcultures like the goth and the tattoo scene inspire me daily in my work to try and push boundries in my designs.
After getting my bachelor’s degree I pursued a technical goldsmith education to strenghten my skills as a traditional maker and let the 3 previous creative years sink in.
I’m currently doing my master’s degree in the visual arts in jewelry context.
